The team at Cube are stoked to be a part of New Zealand’s first fully inclusive playground aptly called The Magical Bridge. This is a fully accessible playground that will provide a safe place to play for people of all physical capabilities and ages.
The Hamilton City Council is working in partnership with the Magical Bridge Trust, which was created specifically for this project. Stage one , the construction phase has started at Claudelands Park in Waikato.
Cube was happy to supply the construction site office and storage container for the project.
“The team at Cube are delighted to assist with this community project, especially the added dimension of providing fun facilities for disabled people who need all the care and adventure others of us can provide.”
So far, all of the existing equipment has been removed and base earthworks completed, along with the bulk of the drainage works and services (water and power) ducts installed.
The playground is already taking shape and play equipment is starting to be installed on site.
We are looking forward to seeing the finished project and are thrilled to have been able to donate our resources to such a great fixture for the community.
